Tanggal 3-31 Oktober 2020 setiap akhir minggu via Zoom.
Malang Gastroenterohepatology Update (MGU) merupakan acara symposium ilmiah tahunan yang diselenggarakan oleh Divisi Gastroenterohepatologi Departemen Ilmu Penyakit Dalam Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Brawijaya – RSUD dr. Saiful Anwar Malang berkolaborasi dengan PPHI-PGI-PEGI Cabang Malang. Pada MGU kesembilan tahun 2020 ini, Panitia memilih tema “Best Practice in Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Disorder in The Era of NEW NORMAL" yang akan memberikan update perkembangan ilmu kedokteran & informasi terkini di Gastroenterohepatologi, khususnya tentang pengenalan dan tata laksana kelainan di bidang Gastroenterohepatologit di masa pandemic COVID-19.
Sebagaimana kita ketahui bersama sejak Maret 2020 lalu, Organisasi Kesehatan Dunia (WHO) mengumumkan bahwa dunia tengah mengalami pandemi global virus corona (COVID-19). Begitu pula di Indonesia, sejak Maret 2020 Pemerintah telah menetapkan wabah COVID-19 sebagai bencana nasional. Adanya bencana non alam ini mempengaruhi berbagai aspek kehidupan dan pemerintahan, termasuk bidang kesehatan. Banyak perkembangan dan perubahan yang terjadi dalam praktik dokter dalam menyesuaikan kondisi saat ini.
Sesuai dengan tuntutan sebagai seorang dokter untuk “long life learning”, maka diperlukan upaya-upaya untuk pengembangan ilmu pengetahuan melalui riset dan promosi kemajuan ilmiah terbaru. Pembaharuan informasi dalam hal perkembangan Ilmu Kedokteran harus terus berjalan. Untuk itu acara Malang Gastroenterohepatology Update-9 (MGU-9) pada tahun ini diselenggarakan melalui pertemuan online/daring. Dengan adanya MGU-9 ini diharapkan dokter sebagai garda terdepan melawan pandemi COVID-19, bisa tetap menerapkan perkembangan ilmu kedokteran untuk mempertinggi derajat pelayanan kesehatan di era New Normal.

Malang Gastroenterohepatology Update (MGU) is an annual scientific symposium organized by the Gastroenterohepatology Division, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Brawijaya University - dr. Saiful Anwar Public Hospital in collaboration with PPHI-PGI-PEGI Malang Branch. At the ninth MGU 2020, we explore the big theme "Best Practice in Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Disorder in The Era of NEW NORMAL" and the latest scientific approaches of Gastroenterohepatology diseases management, especially in the COVID-19 pandemic era.
As we all know, since March 2020 the World Health Organization (WHO) announced that the world is experiencing a global coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19). Likewise, in Indonesia, the Government also has designated the Covid-19 Outbreak as a National Disaster. The existence of this non-natural disaster affects various aspects of life, including the health sector. Many developments and changes have occurred in the doctor's practice during this condition.
As a doctor who must continue to learn or "long-life learning," efforts are needed for the development of science through research and promotion of the latest scientific advances. The updated information regarding the development of Medical Sciences must continue. For this reason, the Malang Gastroenterohepatology Update-9 (MGU-9) event this year is held online. Through MGU-9, it is hoped that doctors, as the front guard against the Covid-19 pandemic, can continue to apply the development of Medical Science to increase the degree of health services in the New Normal era.

Adalah suatu kebanggaan dapat mengundang Anda pada acara simposium tahunan: Malang Gastroenterohepatology Update 9 (MGU-9) yang akan diselenggarakan pada tanggal 3-31 Oktober 2020. MGU-9 kali ini spesial karena simposium tidak diadakan dengan tatap muka langsung seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, namun diadakan secara online via aplikasi Zoom. Hal ini panitia lakukan sebagai upaya mencegah penyebaran wabah virus corona (COVID-19) yang sedang dialami Indonesia, bahkan dunia. Simposium online ini memberi keuntungan tersendiri karena memungkinkan para dokter untuk tetap bisa mengikuti simposium dimanapun dokter berada.
Pada MGU-9 kali ini, Panitia memilih tema “Best Practice in Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Disorder in The Era of NEW NORMAL" yang akan mengulas berbagai praktik klinis dalam menangani penyakit hati dan saluran cerna dalam masa pandemi COVID-19. Penanganan terhadap penyakit hati dan saluran cerna tersebut tidaklah lagi sama dengan sebelum adanya pandemi. Perubahan-perubahan yang terjadi sebagai dampak COVID-19 terhadap pelayanan terapeutik ataupun penyakit pasien, membuat dokter harus terus menyesuaikan diri.
Rangkaian acara pada MGU-9 ini meliputi 9 sesi dalam sebulan penuh, yang diselenggarakan setiap akhir minggu. Dengan para ahli di bidang gastroenterohepatologi yang akan menjadi pembicara dan moderator di setiap sesinya. Para peserta yang mendaftar juga akan memperoleh e-sertifikat dengan SKP terakreditasi IDI.

It is an honor to invite you to the annual scientific symposium: Malang Gastroenterohepatology Update 9 (MGU-9), which will be held on 3-31 October 2020. MGU 9 this time is special because the symposium is not held face-to-face like in previous years, but held online through the Zoom application. This is done by the committee to help prevent the spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19), which has become a pandemic. This online symposium is beneficial because it allows doctors to be able to follow the symposium wherever the doctor is.
At MGU-9 this time, the committee chose the theme "Best Practice in Gastrointestinal and Hepatobiliary Disorder in The Era of NEW NORMAL" which will review various clinical practices in dealing with liver and gastrointestinal diseases during the COVID-19 pandemic. The gastrointestinal tract is no longer the same as it was before the pandemic. Changes that occur as a result of COVID-19 on therapeutic services or patient diseases, make doctors have to continue to adapt.
The series of events at MGU 9 includes nine sessions for a whole month, which are held every weekend. With experts in the field of gastroenterohepatology who will become speakers and moderators in each session. Participants who register will also receive an e-certificate with an IDI accredited SKP.
